Overview

What is CFTicket?

CFTicket is a web-based customer server, trouble ticket application. By using CFTicket you are enabling your company to reduce your overall time-to-completion when dealing with customer issues.

What features does CFTicket have?

CFTicket was designed by customer feedback to ensure that the features you want are included. Many of the features are designed to speed along the time of your employees. Features include:

• Unlimited queues and accounts
• Support for multiple users and groups
• Security to separate users from queues
• Sending and receiving of attachments
• Powerful custom filters to sort mail and prevent spam/viruses
• Custom notifications on new/closed tickets to system users
• Wizard driven configuration screens
• Automatic escalation of tickets
• Merging of similar tickets
• Client front-end allowing web-based tracking of tickets

What are the server requirements?

CFTicket requires ColdFusion MX 6.1, a ColdFusion MX 6.1 compatible webserver, a Microsoft SQL, MySQL, or Microsoft Access database, and the use of the following ColdFusion tags: CFFILE, CFDIRECTORY, and CFSCHEDULE. CFTicket is compatible with any operating system that ColdFusion MX 6.1 supports.

What are the browser requirements?

CFTicket uses new browser technologies to make work more efficient and therefore requires Internet Explorer 5.0+, Netscape/Mozilla 6.0+, or any other compatible browser to function properly. Netscape 4.x is not supported, but all other major browsers should work.
